The City of Buena Park, in cooperation with Caltrans District 7, has commissioned the Beach Boulevard Streetscape Improvement project in the city’s entertainment district. This project serves as exemplary landscape design for future public and private development in the entertainment district. The scope of work included landscape design of median and ROW improvements for over 3,000 feet of Beach Boulevard between SR-91 on-ramp and La Palma Boulevard. The improvements included improvements in the Caltrans ROW, median island reconfiguration, landscape and irrigation improvements on median and public ROW, street lighting, monument and directional sign, coordination with private development along the Beach Boulevard, and sidewalk improvement. This project involved coordination between the City of Buena Park, Caltrans, and property owners within the scope area.
