LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE + URBAN DESIGN
DEL AMO BOULEVARD BRIDGE
CLIENT: City of Cerritos
The proposed Del Amo Boulevard Bridge will be located at the junction of the existing Coyote Creek Bikeway, a regional bike trail, a future regional Class I bikeway that will be located along the abandoned Union Pacific Railroad line, and Class II and Class III bike lanes along Del Amo Boulevard/La Palma Avenue that connect to surrounding neighborhoods, parks, schools, and other recreational facilities.
With the opportunity to connect the three bikeways, the project is positioned to make a great urban design contribution. Its impact on connecting people and places, and facilitating movement will be profound.
